GUEST USE: Cherry Bear is for the exclusive use of registered guests and the owners. For security, comfort and privacy of all, we do not give tours or allow unregistered visitors.

​CHILDREN over 8 can be registered guests with a parent accompanying them at all times. (See GUEST USE, above.)

PAYMENTS: Small inns are greatly affected by cancellations. Because others are turned away when rooms are reserved, each guest is important to us. To this end, we have established a fair payment policy: 1-night charge is due by cash, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover when your reservation is made, with the balance due at the end of your stay or rental agreement. You are responsible for the entire amount of your rental agreement.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: A $30 cancellation fee PER ROOM applies to all cancellations 7 or fewer days prior to scheduled arrival date. The $30 cancellation fee may be waived if you accept a full refund via Cherry Bear Gift Certificate (good for 1 year from date of issue; see GIFT CERTIFICATES, below). No refunds apply to no-shows. Cancellations made more than 1 week in advance will be refunded in full, minus any fees assessed by third party rental agencies such as AirBnB.

VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS, TEACHERS: As a symbol of our gratitude, show us your current ID and receive a $5 voucher to one of our local businesses.

GIFT CERTIFICATES are available and are valid for 1 year for the amount of purchase, subject to room availability. The same policies apply as any other payment. (See CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS, above.)

CANDLES-SMOKING-VAPING: Absolutely no fire or flame of any kind is allowed indoors. This includes incense, candles and any smoking materials. Vaping of any kind is not allowed indoors.

PETS: Sorry, we do not accommodate pets. Trained service animals are welcome. Emotional support animals and pets are not allowed. Call Wagmore Boarding in Earlville, IL (a 13 minute drive) at (815) 627-2010 and reference Cherry Bear Bed and Breakfast for a special rate. Though our beloved dog, Luke, has passed on, we have used this establishment and can recommend it firsthand.
